SIDORO Organic Farm
SIDORO Farm was started by Alessandro Continelli. Coming from three generations of olive farming, Alessandro continues the activity with passion and dedication and manages more than 2000 olive trees on his property.At over 400 meters above sea level, the olive groves are situated in the hills of Torre del Colle, part of the municipality of Bevagna, in the green heart of Umbria, land considered by tradition to be prime olive farming territory.
The company has been inspired to embrace organic farming in order to respect and preserve the territory, help reduce pollution, contribute to wholesome eating and guarantee high quality, natural products. SIDORO, SlowFood ancient olive groves presidium, has been mentioned in the guide “Secular Olive Trees in the Province of Perugia” for its fantastic exemplars of Moraiolo trees, the typical variety found in Umbria and Central Italy.
